I reserve the right to refuse any custom order that includes or implies the following:
❌ Derogatory, Discriminatory, or Hateful Language
This includes—but is not limited to—slurs, insults, or harmful phrases directed toward any individual or group based on their race, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, gender identity, disability, or background.
🏛️ Please note: Under the UK Public Order Act 1986 and the Equality Act 2010, hate speech—defined as speech or behaviour that incites hatred or discrimination based on protected characteristics—is unlawful.
I will not embroider any wording or imagery that promotes, encourages, or normalises hate. My business complies fully with these legal protections and will not support or enable hate in any form.
❌ Homophobia, Transphobia, and Queerphobia
As an LGBTQIA+ inclusive business, Bewitched Stitchin’ will not entertain any content that ridicules, shames, or devalues queer identities. Love is sacred, and queer joy is honoured here.
❌ Racist, Xenophobic, or Culturally Disrespectful Messaging
I will not stitch content that degrades or stereotypes individuals based on race, nationality, or cultural heritage. Cultural celebration is welcome—cultural mockery is not.
❌ Misogyny and Gender-Based Harm
Requests that objectify, diminish, or threaten women or people of marginalised genders will not be accepted. My work honours strength in all its forms.
❌ Explicit Sexual or Violently Graphic Content
I do not embroider sexually explicit language, pornographic references, or graphically violent content. While sensuality, body positivity, and empowerment are beautiful, vulgar or offensive material is not aligned with the sacred nature of my work.
❌ Extremist or Hate Group Symbolism
I will not stitch any symbols, slogans, numbers, or codes associated with hate groups, fascist movements, conspiracy ideologies, or acts of violence.
❌ Humiliation or Bullying
Even when meant in jest, I will not create embroidery designed to shame, ridicule, or humiliate someone—especially when the target has not consented. My work is made for love, not mockery.
